Makeup DO's and DONT'S

Hey guys, hope we had a fruitful week, my week was awesome.

Today we will continue with our makeup dos and donts for the FOUNDATION ROUTINE.

DO: Get your right foundation shade. Its advisable to always buy your foundation  from a makeup studio with an in-situ makeup artist.
If you choose to buy from oshodin under bridge or just any store, you are at risk of buying the wrong shade or a sub standard product. You can also check for your shade by applying the foundation on your jawline and blending towards the neck.

DONT : Buy the wrong shade, plsssssssssssssssssss. I meet people and tell them their correct shade and they argue and argue. The wrong shade makes your face look whitish and chalky. It even makes you look older.

Do: Reconsider powder. If your skin is severely dry or flaking, skip the powder foundation. Not only will powder further dry out the skin, but it can cause the skin to look dull and tired, rather than fresh and matte. Plus, powder settles into lines and wrinkles, accentuating them. If, however, your skin is dry to normal, and you’d like to set foundation with powder.

Don’t: Choose the wrong foundation for your skin type. Foundations are often specialized for skin type, especially dry. Check the label for words like "moisturizing" or "hydrating." While those with combination skin can consider a cream-to-powder base, drier skin usually requires a thicker, creamier foundation.

Do: Consider a moisturizing makeup remover. When it comes to removing makeup, many soaps and makeup removers are hard on dry skin. That’s why it’s key to find a gentle formula with hydrating abilities.

Don’t: Sleep with makeup on. No matter what skin type you have or how tired you are at the end of the night, avoid sleeping with your makeup on. Makeup left on overnight can clog pores, leading to acne, irritation and even infection. Instead, use a makeup remover and follow up with a nighttime moisturizer that’ll restore hydration to your skin as you sleep.

                look good,  Feel great.
