‎Hey guys! This week I stayed back in benin cos my 100level bunkie was getting married (yea, I attended Uniben, stayed in hostel for 5yrs and I had bunkies). When I got her message on facebook I was overjoyed, and I kept saying in my heart, oh the blessings that come with marriage.
After 100l, over the years we lost contact and for her to have found me and contacted me was a thrill for me.

On her day, she was so calm, she was gisting and laughing with her friends, I was so happy for her, the kind of joy you feel when someone you know is getting married. Let me not even bore you with the gist of how her husband and his friends danced‎ better than her(the matter vex me). Oh I had the pleasure of working with @owalesphotography. See her calm her makeup is??? How hubby said he would come for a refund if he didn't recognize his wife o.

Prime Primer.

Hey guys!
 So I gave you the gist of how my brides husband danced better than her yes? This post is about that my bride's friend.

How was your day? It was fine, I know right?oh it wasn't? I'm sorry dear, it will get better.

So when I was applying the brides makeup, one of her friends asked me for primer, (Primers are most commonly used to help prepare your skin for foundation application by smoothing out the texture of your skin. it helps you apply foundation easily and smoothly)

Normally I would not give it out but then i did and  she asked me how to apply it..because one of her friends told her that when you apply too much, it doesn't work. 

Ok, so here's my take on face primer:

1. Not everybody needs primer on their skin. If you normally don't have an oily skin or you have dry skin, I suggest you just stick to a moisturizer. You can also apply your moisturizer,then apply a primer.

2. Less is actually more for primers, you should use just as u need otherwise it will look oily.

3.use your fingers to apply and blend, it helps save products.

4. Wait till the primer dries off before you apply foundation, this should take about 20sec. This is when putting too much becomes an issue, because it will take more time to dry off and because you will apply your foundation immediately, the result wouldn't be good.

I recommend Mary kay face primer and Milk of magnesia.

The Julia.

Oh Julia! Julianna!! Julianne!!! The alaga kept messing up with her name, She kept screaming my name is Julia oo..it was really funny, trust me. I know I have been away, and I know u have missed me. I have missed you too, I can't promise not to disappear again but I can promise I am here now.

I met Julia through a former looksbyhilda bride @ Mrs Tomi Iraya( bride turned pain in my ass) she did all d negotiations on her behalf and everything everything.

Julia was so calm and trusting, and she kept smiling and asking the photographer to take her photos. Very hilarious bride. I really enjoyed working with here.

Testimonial Thursday.

So today I decided to have a testimonial thursday..i dug out all the comments from bride and asked some of them to write testimonials. It's oga Steve Harris and madam Stephanie Obi ( they are both business specialists) that told us to be doing it oo..

Anyways let me gist you what happened today, when I just moved to lagos, they were Lagos people are mean, always in a hurry, blah blah blah.. but today the man beside actually helped me played my candy crush (not cos he wanted to toast me oo) and gave me a few playing tricks..what do you guys mean??Lagos people are friendly jor..Ehen the conductor actually had his wedding ring on,i was so surprised.

Exfoliating mistakes.

I know that Exfoliation or getting rid of the dead skin cells is an essential part of a good skin care regime. When done in the right way it can certainly do wonders for your skin. However, we must follow certain important tips while exfoliating so as to achieve maximum benefit out of it without harming the skin in any way. Even an expensive high end brand exfoliator/scrub may not work for you if you fail to use it in the right way. One mistake we make is:

Exfoliating without water

Always make your sure that your skin is a little damp before you start with your exfoliation process. Never use a scrub, straightway from the tube to your dry skin. Water helps in lubricating the skin and makes scrubbing easier. Also, dry scrubbing can create a lot of friction and thereby harm the skin. So splash or rinse your face with water before you start exfoliating.
